An Irish Table for a Filipina!

Happy St. Patrick's Day to ALL!

Kathleen's St. Patrick's Day blog crawl is finally here and this table waited 2 weeks to be posted. I don't have much of St. Patrick stuff so you will see a repeat of a lot of items from last year but you can see a lot more if you visit Kathleen and her other participants.

The square salad plates, small bowls and napkins were from Homegoods in Cape Coral, FL.

Flatware from Horchow.

Dinner plates are vintage Bavarian Tirschenreuth from Ebay. I have had them displayed in my dining room corner china cabinet for a while. Just took them out for this table.

I just bought the teapot on my last Chicago trip from Marshall's. I thought I would use it for my centerpiece. The shell candle holder is from a yard sale in Florida for 25 cents. Votive candle holders are from Joss & Main or is it One King's Lane? The stems were bought from an antique booth downtown for $1 each.

I think I bought the etched glasses from TJ Maxx in Baton Rouge a while back.
The mallard duck napkin rings were Ebay finds. John likes ducks so I have a lot of duck accessories. Someday, I will do a duck themed tablescape.

The green straw placemats which were used as a table runner here were from TJ Maxx in Cape Coral from a long time ago.

Thank you for stopping by. Please visit the hostesses listed below, who I am very grateful for.

Christine you have enough beautiful things to make such great looking setting for St. Pat's! I love the square dishes with the shamrocks, they're so different! I'm also crazy about your napkins, they're really perfect and all your green glass ware. Have a happy St. Patrick's Day..even if we're not Irish, but we are Catholic, which counts, lol..

You know I love this very green table...you have dishes for every holiday or occasion! Nice shamrock plates. I can't wait for you to do a duck inspired table...I have a mallard tureen with mini tureens that I should do a table around.

Hey, Christine! The sign of a true tablescape artist is when she/he can use the same elements and make them look different every time. Some of these items may have been used last year, but it's the WAY you have so artfully displayed them that makes this table shine on its own note! I love the teapot! I'll bet the Chicago Marshalls and TJ Maxx stores have TONS of stuff in them!!! I like the mallard napkin rings, too. I can't believe I sold all my wooden mallards in a garage sale a few years back! They were beautiful! At that time, though, I didn't have space for them. Boo hoo hoo! :-( Have a happy St. Patrick's Day!
